AI Policy Statement

Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) represented by ChatGPT is changing traditional academic research and paper writing. For the purpose of maintaining academic integrity and research transparency, "Intelligence Theory and Practice" now issues the following statement:

1. In principle, this journal does not accept submissions of papers containing AI tools in the author's signature, and references should not include papers with AI listed as the author. The author must be a natural person who is responsible for the authenticity, completeness, scientificity, etc. of the content of the paper. If the main content of the paper is generated using AI tools, once discovered, it will be dealt with as academic misconduct.

2. If AI tools and AI-generated content are used in the writing of the paper, including using AI tools to collect and analyze data, create pictures or graphic elements in the paper, generate program algorithms, text or text polish, etc., they must be listed in the data source of the paper. , method design or conclusion section clearly states what AI tool was used, detailed usage process, and its role and contribution, so that the reviewers and editorial department can evaluate the originality of the paper. Papers found to be suspected of academic misconduct will be rejected or withdrawn directly.

3. Scientific research must comply with requirements such as scientificity, rigor, standardization, originality, and innovation, and abide by scientific research integrity, academic ethics, and publication ethics. Thesis writing is an important training and manifestation of scientific research ability. There is no opportunism and no shortcuts.

It is hoped that the majority of scientific researchers will abide by academic norms, adhere to academic ethics, and use information tools rationally, normatively, and rationally to engage in academic research.
