With the improvement of information technology and academic capabilities, the quality of scientific research results and papers is improving day by day, and the number of manuscripts submitted to our journal is also increasing. However, the content of some manuscripts deviates from the reporting scope of this journal, the manuscript format is not standardized enough, and the references after the article do not meet the national standard requirements. In order to facilitate the review and editing of accepted manuscripts, authors are requested to pay attention to the following matters when submitting their manuscripts.

1.  "Information Studies：Theory & Practice"is an academic publication that discusses the theories, methods and application techniques of information science. This journal welcomes research on the theoretical system of information science, subject systems and related disciplines, information policy and management, information retrieval, intelligence activities in various countries, development and utilization of network information resources, information processing, user research, information technology applications, intelligence work practice research, intelligence Articles on research activities and terminology.

2. Manuscripts must have a clear theme, correct concepts, theoretical and practical significance of the topic, correct concepts and arguments, sufficient evidence, reliable data, rigorous structure, and concise and smooth writing.

4. When registering an author in the online submission system, try to provide the author’s detailed contact address (such as unit, postal code, contact number, email, etc.). When submitting a paper, if it is a fund project, please indicate the fund project name and project number. Please do not include the fund project number that has nothing to do with the content of the paper.

5. Manuscripts should be stated in the following order: ① Author (including collaborators) name (unit, province, city, postal code); ② Chinese and English title (Chinese title should not exceed 17 words); ③ Chinese and English abstract (within 300 words) , it is recommended to use a structured abstract, please see the submission template in the download center section; ④ Chinese and English keywords (more than 3); ⑤ Text; ⑥ References.

6. Text structure, the first-level heading is 1, the second-level heading is 1.1, and the third-level heading is 1.1.1.

7. References at the end of the text should be marked in accordance with the provisions of international GB7714. Arrange them by number in the order of citation in the text, and mark the citation in the text with square brackets and a serial number (within the punctuation marks) in the upper right corner of the text. Please list the main, publicly published documents (internal materials and unpublished articles are not allowed to be cited). For examples, please refer to the reference specifications of each article in this journal, or refer to the table below.

8. You are responsible for the submission of your manuscript. Please do not submit more than one manuscript. Our journal is not responsible for verifying the source of the article content and reviewing it confidentially. Authors are requested to pay attention to copyright and confidentiality issues when writing. If any copyright dispute occurs, the author will be solely responsible. In addition, the content of the article is required to comply with national laws and regulations. Our journal has the right to appropriately delete or modify the article in accordance with relevant regulations and format requirements, and withdraw the author for modification when necessary. After the paper is published, if serious plagiarism or repeated publication of the manuscript is found, our journal will have the right to issue a "withdrawal of the manuscript" statement.

9. The review period of our journal is 1 month. If the author does not receive an acceptance notice within 1 month after the manuscript is received by our journal (you can log in to our journal’s website to check), the manuscript can be processed by itself; after receiving the manuscript acceptance notice, please Follow the notification.

10. Once the manuscript is published, the manuscript will be remunerated and a number of sample journals will be given as a gift (one copy will be given to each of the three authors or less). If multiple sample publications are required, additional sample publication fees will be charged.

11. This journal does not accept translations. Please attach the original text to the compiled manuscript and indicate the source.
